Nestled in the beautiful Sammamish River Valley just 30 minutes northeast of Seattle, Woodinville Wine Country is home to over 100 wineries and tasting rooms representing every appellation in Washington.

From the historic and beautiful grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle to the quaint boutique wineries where you are likely to have the winemaker themselves pour you a glass of his or her finest blend, a wonderful variety of wine tasting experiences awaits you.

Nearly all of the Woodinville wineries grow their grapes in the warm, arid climate of Eastern Washington’s Columbia Valley where vineyards boast sandy, gravelly soils providing an ideal medium to plant vines. Protected from Seattle’s marine climate by the Cascade Mountains, Columbia Valley vineyard temperatures consistently hover in the mid-80’s during the summer. Come fall, warm days and cool nights protect the grapes natural acidity and ripen the fruit to perfection.

The winemakers of Woodinville Wine Country invite you to visit our friendly tasting rooms and taste our celebrated wines.

Lagunitas Brewing Company

1280 N. McDowell Boulevard
Petaluma, CA 94954

The Lagunitas Brewing Co. was not so much an act of ordinary ‘foundling’ as it was willed into being by the unspoken desire of supportive beer-lovers in Northern California after which they continued to nurture their creation and urged us forward to fulfill the unifying needs of that same beer-loving diaspora from coast to coast and beyond. It is good to have friends!

Omission Beer

929 N Russell St

Red Hook

14300 NE 145th Street
Woodinville, WA 98072

In 1981, Redhook founders, Gordon Bowker and Paul Shipman, had a vision to bring Seattle a better beer than the light yellow fizzy stuff that was widely available at the time. Seizing upon the progressive energy of other pioneering Emerald City brands, the two established Seattle’s Redhook Ale Brewery.

From modest beginnings in an old transmission shop in the Ballard neighborhood, to a former trolley car barn in Fremont, Redhook has always embodied the spirit of Seattle. After 35 years, Seattle’s Original Craft Brewery is still brewing fresh, innovative craft beers for the new generations of beer lovers.

Gorman Winery

19501 144th Ave NE #C500
Woodinville, WA 98072

Since 2002 the mission was very clear. Make delicious wines. Choose the finest grapes in Washington state, use the finest coopers and suppliers, don’t settle, and don’t screw it up. We have no employees and better yet no Board of Directors. All decision making is very simple. We are currently a three-man winery, with the occasional use of volunteer help for harvest, bottling and partying.

Producing under 8,000 cases a year makes focusing primarily on quality very manageable. And that focus has been primarily on Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. For our style, the muscular nature of this fruit is a perfect match. Our close relationship with some of the greatest fruit growers in Washington state has been a major factor in our success in producing top quality wines. In 2006, we added our first white wine, the Big Sissy Chardonnay.

Originally open only a few times a year to the public and consumers, we have since stepped out from behind the cellar door. We have since opened two tasting rooms in our hometown of Woodinville.
