Registration for this popular event is limited due to our commitment to minimize the impact in this beautiful area and to provide our guests with a quality destination running experience.

All runners or fast walkers must be able to keep a 16:00 per mile pace and finish in 3 hours and 30 minutes or less to register. The minimum age requirement for the half marathon is 12 years. This course is considered very scenic with moderate difficulty, with gentle rolling terrain on backcountry roads.  See The Course! *Please note there are no refunds. Teams MUST have a minimum of 6 team members to qualify as a team and receive the $10 entry fee discount. Teams may consist of any combination of male and female runners. Teams can have a maximum of 20 runners per team, if over 20 members, you must register at least two teams of 6 members or more per team. Teams that do not reach the minimum number of runners will be charged an additional $20 (per runner) and moved to the Individual category. Credits are not given for runners that sign up as Individuals and then transferred to a Team. HOW TO CREATE A TEAM 1. Click “Create a Team” from the event page. 2. Find the event page and click the Create a Team button near the top of the page. 3. When you click Create a Team, you’ll be prompted to add a team name (if you’re logged in—otherwise you’ll need to do this first with Facebook or your Eventbrite account). If the name is already taken, we’ll let you know. 4. When you create a new team, you may also need to create a team password that you’ll need to provide to others you invite to join you. 5. Click Continue to make your team live. 6. If you haven’t already, kick things off by registering for the event through your brand new team page—or get busy customizing your team page by clicking “No thanks.” HOW TO JOIN A TEAM 1. Click “Join a Team” from the event page. 2. From the event page and click the Join a Team button near the top of the page. 3. Search by team name. 4. Just start typing and any matches will appear as you type. When you see the team you want to join, select it from the drop-down options. 5. Complete your registration. 6. Invite some friends to join you! Scoring Team members will be scored both as an Individual and in the Team competition. The top 5 times from each team will be combined to get the total team time. All times are age and gender handicapped based on the standard USATF handicap system. Earn a Complimentary Entry  Once your running club registers 10 or more members, email us at to receive an invitation code for one complimentary registration you can give to a deserving team member, or reward yourself for organizing the team. The 2-Person Relay team allows two runners to split the 13.1-mile distance. Your 2-person team must be able to complete the 13.1-mile course in 3 hr 30 min. To register a 2-Person Relay Team you must submit a team name and register both participants at the same time.
Elites must be able to compete for a top 3 overall finish in the Men’s or Women’s open division of the half marathon. Master elites may also submit their resume and apply for Elite B category. Please email your request to the race director with a one page running resume/bio to include PR’s, recent results, notable accomplishments, hometown/college, etc. Please submit as a PDF or Word document.
