Bus Transportation
Bus transportation to the start area and back is provided from three locations in the Santa Ynez Valley: Solvang Park, Santa Ynez Valley High School, and the Marriott hotel in Buellton. Please arrive early for bus transportation to avoid lines and note: If the last bus fills up from a location then you may be forced to drive to the start and park, or be dropped off.
From the Santa Barbara area, charter buses will run to and from the Fess Parker Doubletree Hotel in Santa Barbara and the Bacara Resort & Spa. Runners must pre-purchase ($30) passes to secure a space on the Santa Barbara buses during Registration or by adding Race Extras to an existing registration.

Runner Drop Off
Runners may be dropped off by car at the parking lot on Meadowvale Road between Hwy 246 and Sagunto Street or in the parking lot of the Red Barn at Edison and Sagunto Street. There is NO PARKING on or near Sagunto, Faraday, Meadowvale or any streets near the start area, but there may be some available parking on other streets in Santa Ynez.

Four public parking lots are available in Solvang Lots 1, 3, 4 & 5 (Parking is not available in Lot 2 next to Solvang Park on Race Day). Additional parking is available in the lot behind Hotel Corque and in the large field behind the Corque accessible from Alisal Mesa Road.

Santa Ynez
Parking is available at Santa Ynez High School, 2975 East Hwy 246 ˜ 1 mile from the Start Line. Parking will not be permitted on Sagunto, Faraday, Meadowvale or any streets near the start area. Please be respectful of no parking signs, private property and noise ordinances.
Relay Transition
Use Hwy 154 to access downtown Los Olivos parking areas; do not use Alamo Pintado Rd or Grand Ave. as they will have limited access due to the race.

Santa Ynez Viewing
Enjoy breakfast on the patio at Burger Barn while watching the runners start the race.
Los Olivos Viewing
Watch the runners make the relay transition at mile 5.8 in downtown Los Olivos at the flagpole. Grab coffee or breakfast and watch them run through town. Use Hwy 154 to access Los Olivos; do not use Alamo Pintado Rd or Grand Ave. as they will have limited access due to the race.
Ballard Canyon
Absolutely NO VEHICLES allowed in Ballard Canyon. You may park in downtown Los Olivos and walk up Steele Road to Corkscrew Hill at mile 7
Solvang Viewing
Watch the runners finish the race in Solvang from Hans Christian Anderson off Chalk Hill to Copenhagen Dr.
Vehicles are NOT allowed anywhere on the course and there is NO parking along the course.
