Kelowna and the Okanagan Valley offer visitors a very unique wine country experience. Cradled within a glorious range of mountains is a sanctuary filled with pristine lakes, pine forests, abundant gardens, sandy beaches, orchards and vineyards. Kelowna is the largest city in the valley, with miles of beautiful parkland, and several sandy beaches providing visitors and locals alike with recreational boating, swimming, water-skiing, windsurfing and fishing. Kelowna’s growing Cultural District covers a six-block downtown area and features a concentration of galleries, museums, theatres, a casino, artists’ studios, fine dining, unique shops and a vibrant cultural life all year long. Vineyards and orchards thrive within a 10-minute drive of downtown, with wine tasting available at over 29 local wineries. The Okanagan Valley AVA is approximately 300 km from the Pacific Ocean. It is long and narrow and runs for 160 km from the US border. The relatively dry climate in the region helps to produce amazing Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Chardonnay.

Born and raised in Oliver, BC, Christina, Nicole and Michael Ferreira grew up on an orchard, spending their summers picking and packaging all soft fruits in their parents packinghouse. Coming from an agricultural family, the trio learned hard work ethics at early ages. Their desire to explore an exciting adventure staying true to their agricultural roots alongside over 10 years experience in various areas of the wine industry got their brains thinking how to take their passion and create a vision. With farming in their blood and wine in their hearts, starting a winery sounded like the perfect venture for the siblings to undertake. And so Squeezed was born… The trio looks forward to welcoming you as we embark on this exciting journey of wine, celebration and fun!

We set out to make the most beautiful wines in the world; starting with organically and biodynamically grown grapes from the pristine Okanagan Valley, handling them with love and attention, allowing them to ferment naturally to retain the highest levels of antioxidants, and finishing the wines in our Pyramid Cellar built with precision Sacred Geometry and aligned to the stars to create a structure of stillness and harmony.

Our ambition is to bring pride to all Canadians. I’m thrilled to have witnessed this vision unfold with our portfolio of Cipes sparkling wines and Summerhill red, white and icewines being awarded among the wine world’s highest honours, including trophies and gold medals from France and England, as well as a special trophy naming Summerhill “Canadian Wine Producer of the Year” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
